General presentation

The conference aims to promote the work of young researchers from the Mediterranean region who use quantitative methods and mathematical and statistical modelling, allowing them to benefit from the experience of more experienced researchers. It's also an opportunity for scholars to meet and exchange ideas, establish partnerships in European and international projects, and build lasting relationships.

The first edition was held in Tunisia in 2019, and the second in Montpellier in 2023. Special attention is given to young researchers (doctoral students and postdocs) from all over the world, notably from Maghreb countries and from the Mediterranean region. During previous editions, we welcomed participants from around the world, including France, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Belgium, Canada, Germany, etc.
