Keynote Lecture: Quantifying the Quality of Political Representation: The Role of Institutions and Incentives
Professor David Stadelmann holds the Chair in Economic Policy and Economic Development at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), where he was appointed at 29 in 2013. Thanks to his outstanding academic career, he is among the Top 10% Authors in the RePEc Ranking (last 10 years of publication). He has authored over 80 articles published in international academic journals with peer review. His research interests include economic development, public policy, international factor mobility, and political economy.
As a coeditor of the international academic journal Kyklos, Professor David Stadelmann contributes to spreading interdisciplinary research in social sciences and economics.
In parallel to his senior role at the University of Bayreuth, Professor David Stadelmann is a Senior Fellow at the Institut für Schweizer Wirtschaftspolitik (IWP), a Research Fellow at the CREMA (Center for Research in Economics, Management and the Arts) in Switzerland, and an Ostrom Workshop Fellow (Indiana University) in the United States. He is also a BEST Fellow (Center for Behavioural Economics, Society and Technology) in Australia and an ordinary Walter Eucken Institut (Germany) member, emphasizing his international commitment and collaboration with prominent institutions.
His extensive expertise and international collaborations make him a leading figure in economic policy and public performance.
